My name is Piper and I am a one-year-old Westie and the only dog in my family. My hooman pawrents and brothers and sisters all work from home and I rarely get left alone. One day everypawdy in my family (except me!!) was invited to a pawty and my mom called Annie Time right away. First we went went to a “meet and greet” so I could meet some of the pack and get a few sniffs around. When the pawty day came, my pawrents dropped me off and I was introduced to each of the other doggos there individually. I had a supaw day. I went for a walk with my new doggo frens somewhere I’d never been before and we played and had so much fun. I was so lucky to meet a tiny little pupper there. I ate all my dinner my momma sent for me and before I knew it, she was there to pick me up and take me home. I was pawsitively dog tired from all my adventures and slept as soon as I got into the car. I can’t wait to go back and see my frens again!
Note from Piper’s pawrents: We were so happy to receive some photos of Piper via text mid-day on her very first “pack walk” with other dogs of all sizes and ages. She had very little experience with other dogs and did really well. We felt very comfortable leaving our “little girl” with Annie and Lennie and their pack. – L. J. Vander Welle, Cambridge, ON
